cleaning my attic in my grandmother's house, i found it crumbled up in the corner...dont really know too much about it looks like it could be real but really unsure..

eight dollars? this intended bill of eight dollars shall entitle the bearer thereof to recive bills of exchange payable in london, or Gold and silver, at the rate of four shillings and six-pence sterling per dollar for the faid bill, according to the directions of an act of athembly of maryland dated in annapolis this 10 day of april anno domini 1774 it is signed by some one i cant make out the name looks like wlahham mceddis?? the back side has a stamp of two leaves and states around the box printed by a.c. and f. green tis death to counterfeit EIGHT DOLLARS Equal to 36s sterling annapolis
