Can someone tell me the worth of ivory?  This set is old (Korean War era).  Does anyone else have a Japanese ivory set?  How should I care for it?  It was given to me by my late Father.

Pictures would be great. The value of any ivory chess set is directly related to sized and qualiry of carving. Some sets depict oriental Royalty and there are others sets that are much more valuable for instance one depicting Napolean's Army carved in Ivory.

Nobody can help you without more detail and images, values vary tremendously depend on the quality

and design of the set.
