Raised picture of man and woman, man with right arm raised to eyes looking in distance with woman kneeling at his feet with hands clasped under palm trees. Background is powder (wedgewood colour)blue with pin head like indentaion over blue area. Following the couple, is a young boy aged 12/14 carruing a smaller girl aged 3/5

This piece is German version of English Jasperware, which was first made in the mid 1700's and remains in production to this day. Your piece dates from the 1890's, at auction $75.00.

The auction market is really saturated right now, large numbers of people are having a pretty rough goe because of the economy, gas prices etc..... I'd be tempted to keep it, as I feel these pieces are currently undervalued.
