Size and Dimension

Oa height: 8.5 inches, diameter at bottom: 8.375 inches, diameter at top 4.5 inches, depth of bell: 6.375 inches

Weight

About 9 pounds

Condition

History

My parents purchased this, about 25 years ago, from a storage auction. Price they paid is unknown.

Description

Possibly a ship bell, although there is no ship name on it. There iare no maker's marks or other identifying marks, except as pictured. Bird stamp is about 1.75 inches (diameter). Date stamp is aproximately 2.375 inches by .875 inches

Not shown in the pictures is the .375 inch hole at the top for connecting to whatever it was connected to.

I put some baby powder on the bell to try and make the bird, etc. stand out some.

The bell has a nice tone and is very loud.

Any help identifying this bell would be greeatyly appreciated.

Thank you

History

Hand made shortly before makers death. Given to me by a friend. 18 man hours.

Description

Real nice hand made deer antler knife.  About 18hrs of work on this piece.  Fits perfectly in your hand.  The actual knife looks very similar to this one (I had to find a picture off the web).  The two major differences between them are that the bit between the blade and the handle is more simple and brass and the blade itself is not as narrow or long.

Price Paid (If known)

Condition

History

Description

I did alot of research on this, before submitting it.

This is an original 1869 KKK Grand Dragon Realm of Louisiana buckle. I did research on it because i know there is alot of replicas around. Most replicas are made out of pewter, this buckle is not made out of that. This buckle is heavy, also it has what looks like specs of silver in it. The description is - On the front it has a skull, with KKK on the skulls forehead, Ku Klux Klan Grand Dragon written on the top, on the bottom Realm of Louisiana written on the bottom. Under the skull is like a ribbon of some sort, it reminds me of the confederates. There are specs of silver around the front. There are 2 holes on the top and 2 on the bottom, 3 on the left side, and 3 more holes on the right side. Which makes me believe this is a buckle.   On the Back of it - written on the back it says KKK Grand Dragon 1869.

I did research on this and also replicas of it. The replicas are light and made out of pewter. This buckle i own,, is heavy. And i am not exactly sure what it is made out of, but the specs of silver, look to be real silver.   The words are faded, and you need to hit the right lighting to see the words. It is in good condition.

The replicas go for around $20.00 , this is not a replica.

Size and Dimension

Weight

1lb or so

Condition

History

all I know is the maker and that it is an alcohol bottle from around 1958

Description

this bottle is embossed on one side with the word "friendship" it has calabash style hands in a sort of shield with laurel leaf under it... on the other side it's embossed with an oval sunbust type of design. I know it was holding some kind of alcohol because it has the forbidden statement on the bottom that was in use from 1932-1964. the stopper is a ball (hollow) with cork.It does have a molding seam up the sides, and a 1/4'' deep circular depression on thebottom.

I in an oval for the owen-illinois co. a 2, a,0, D-126, L-9529, a 58, and a 81 all on the bottom along with the govt warning fobidding reuse... the black5 on the bottom is just from a marker

I can't find info online regarding this, so it would be great if someone could enlighten me!
