This is actually a very common item. you can buy these at game stores for about $30-$50 if you paid $250 for it than you paid way too much. I own one of these myself and also the ps2 and matter of fact the same game you have pictured there. This is actually the first of the playstations and the games from it can be used on the playstation 2 systems as well. Its alot of fun i still use mine all the time. Just thought i would let you know.
