THE LID SWIVELS TO OPEN, THE HANDLE IS ON THE FRONT, IT HAS 4 LEGS, AND IS VERY FANCY

4 pc. set -  CONTINENTAL and silvercoinc. engraved on bottom of coffee pot. Also has the word CHROMIUM. The percolator coffee pot and the tea pot have plastic brown handles.

Sorry - I can't upload a picture because of its size.  The cake lift has a handle the shape of an exclamation mark; open;with an internal design of five styalised leaves on the left, one below the other, each smaller than the one above and pointing downwards to the right. On the right of the leaves, facing them, from the top, is what looks like the top part of an inverted question mark, which ends in a series of six reducing 'bead.

Immediately below where the handle meets the body are two lines, followed by a further two lines, 2 cm below - then becoming the 'blade'.

The vase is very ornate with beautiful detail. There are figures of men and women on each of the 6 sides. They seem to be posing while performing a job. The women are wearing a long dress and looks like an apron.

Please help me identify the value;  I have performed some research & it appears that Weiner Werkstatte by Josef Hoffman values in the thousands.  I paid approximately $2.00 at the local Salvation Army in Litchfield County CT. 

this item in mot sure if it was a jewery box it has four looking animal feet as stands it has a lid that is attached and opens from one side. theres a stamp on it three leaf pland, a crown, a standing lion. top of lid two standing lions with some kind of family crest in middle with top of crest hand honing a axe. on the back of on side a oval shape piece missing and where the lid hindges r it say 186

I have a Barbour silver stand and bowl set that I would like to get some detail on, including estimated value.  The stand has Barbour Silver Co, Quadruple Plate, 248 engraved in the bottom.  The base is approximately 7 ½ inches in diameter at the bottom and 4 ½ inches in diameter at the top where the bowl sets in.  It is 3 ½ inches high to the top where the bowl sets, and 6 ½ inches high at the handles.

The bowl is shaped somewhat like an open flower, and two of the “petals” fit between the handles of the stand.  It is 12 inches in diameter, and 4 inches high.  It is pure white on the underside, and the inside is more of a cream color.  There is a rust/red trim around the inside edge that runs from 1 inch to 1 ½ inches in.

The weight of the stand is approximately 1 ½ pounds, and the bowl weighs 1 ¾ pounds.

It could have been a wedding gift in 1921, but may date earlier.

After some research, I found that this piece is definitely from Forbes Silver Company; I just have no idea of the date of manufacture, what it's actually made of (silver? silver plate over what?), and what it might be worth (my guess is less than $100). 

I don't have the entire set, but what I have includes 8 large forks, 8 smaller forks (salad maybe?) I also have 8 knifes and 12 teaspoons. I received this as a gift, and the person who gave it to me might still have the spoons. The knifes have stainless blade. Each piece also has a monogram that looks like a small letter e, although I wasn't able to find anything similar when I did my research.

I need to know if Derby Silver Company was around in 1836 and if this is original. Or is it an added marking. The top of the flash removes and pulls up into a small cup, and collapses into a screw on cover. There is a floral decorative band about 2" high and towards the top of the flash. The flash is darkened with age and the silver plating is worn. If anyone has information on this piece, I would be greatful. I can provide pictures if requested.

I have a Teapot,creamer,sugar and another piece.They habe intricate legs and I think flower design.

We are not sure about anything on this vase, it was the crest on the bottom that caught our attention.

Internatioal Silver Co. Coffee Server in good condition, no dents few scratches, needs to be refinished.
