This is a very small metal bird that has an insert flap that lifts up at the tail. There is a grater type space closing off at the very top of the head. The side markings are striking and nicely detailed. This piece is four inches long and one inch wide.

So many repos today would have to see it to determine age ,  but just from the description value would probably go for 35 to 75 dollars ,  I cant see the details from the photo, probably german or european in origion.

The updated photo from the box gives this a date of the forties or fifties , be sure to include picture in your auction ,  seems to be german in origion , value stays the same
