Does anyone have advice on how to take decent pictures of marks or backstamps on china, crystal, pottery, etc.  I've had requests for pictures of the marks on items I'm selling, but no matter how many ways I try, all my pictures come out blurred or too bright from the flash, etc. 

I would appreciate any tips anyone has.  Thanks!

I have a beautiful (original hardware) antique buffet great shape. It is approximatly 5 and 1/2 feet long and 1 foot and 11 inches wide. Two drawers in the middle and two side short drawers with cabinets below the short drawers. It has a beautiful ornate design engraved into the wood right below the two long middle drawers. The buffet was purchased by my grandmother in 1937. Any idea on what it is worth?

My neighbour just gave me an old bedroom set stamped with RWAy Northern Furniture Co. and a headboard& footboard with a painted decal Leavens Furniture Specialists Boston. I am told they are ANTIQUES. Any info about the companies would help me figure out if I will sell or keep them.

Friend has an oil painting of Rebecca Baines Johnson- it is signed as follows "Rebecca Baines Johnson, 1979 WW Prior" 

I'm having trouble finding anything on WW Prior as an artist.   

Friend of mine has a painting of Rebecca Baines Johnson and says 1917 WW Prior at the bottom signature.  We are trying to find out or get direction in finding out how much it's worth?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  It is in very good condition.   

I have a 6" amphora and on the botttom it says fromwhat i can make out, detail of an amphora painted about 520B.C. nympoes private Berlin museum no.2380 loutrophoro hand made and painted in Greece then it has a name, Vassipoloupo or something like that. could this be authentic? and if so is it worth anything any info would be much appreciated
