Antique Fountain Pen Destroyed - Is It Worth Repairing?

Anonymous's picture

  • Antique & Collectible Talk

Hello, I have been keeping some of my antique fountain pens in a much-stuffed drawer. The other evening I was closing the drawer and accidentally caught part of the pen on the drawer causing the pen to break in half and crack. The pen is an old Eversharp and is basically in two large pieces and three smaller pieces. I'm not sure if it's worth the time and money to repair or not. Thanks for any help. - Charles

Charles, Is there any way

Charles,

Is there any way that you can send a picture of the pen and the damage? From a picture I should be able to tell the value of the pen and in looking at the damage assess whether it's worth repairing or not.
